October 9 at 7:30 ZOOM MEET-UP

SchonDSGN Presents!

Ian Shon of SchonDSGN will talk with us from his facility in Philadelphia where he designs and manufactures his pens and will give a virtual tour of workshop.  His machinery and manufacturing process is very high tech and his designs are quite unique.  We’ll get to see his pens; he’ll talk about his history and how he came to pen making, and perhaps include a sneak peek of what’s coming down the line. Check the ShonDSGN website: https://www.schondsgn.com/ for information about Ian.

YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE FOR THIS MEETING BY CLICKING THIS LINK:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

A couple of points about using Zoom:

  1. Zooms are not totally glitch-free.
  2. ALWAYS use “test microphone and speaker” at the beginning.
  3. … and if you’re using a phone, the Zoom might have a “safe driving mode” enabled which keeps it from working till you turn it off.
  4. If you’re using a laptop, find a thick dictionary to put it on so the camera sees you directly, not upward from your chin,
  5. and make sure your back isn’t to a window and that the camera view does not compromise your privacy.

With wishes for good health,
