We are excited to introduce a new addition to our pen-collecting community: The Northern Delaware Pen Club!

While the idea and planning for this club have been in the works for quite some time, they are finally getting things rolling and bringing together like-minded pen enthusiasts for gatherings, conversation, and, of course, a shared love of all things writing-related.

The Northern Delaware Pen Club is intended to be a welcoming place for anyone who enjoys writing with fountain pens, other pens, and even pencils. Whether you’re an experienced collector, a stationery enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates the art of putting pen to paper, they would love to have you join them.

What’s Happening?

There is no formal meeting schedule established just yet, but they are finding a rhythm that seems to be settling into gatherings every other month.

Their next meeting will be Saturday, November 7th, following International Fountain Pen Day. They look forward to getting together, sharing collections, exchanging ideas, and enjoying the company of fellow enthusiasts.

They also plan to incorporate demonstrations and special meeting themes, giving everyone an opportunity to learn something new, share their knowledge, and explore different aspects of the writing experience.

Where Will They Meet?

That’s still a work in progress! They haven’t settled on a permanent meeting location because they would really like input from the people who will be attending. The current plans include meeting at libraries throughout New Castle County, Delaware.

They want this club to be shaped by its members, so suggestions and ideas are always welcome.

The club is being started by Damien from All in the Nib and Will Kelly, with the hope of building a wonderful community of people who share their appreciation for pens, paper, ink, and the written word.
